Young Americans Expect to Buy a Home Later or Not at All

Homeownership is slipping out of reach for a generation. Among US non-homeowners aged 18-34, only 29% now expect to buy within five years, down from 57% in 2013/2015. The share who see no purchase in the foreseeable future more than doubled, from 13% to 30%. Source: Gallup
