A 49-year-old man in Russia's Voronezh region died Tuesday after a Ukrainian drone attack sparked a fire at a newly opened Wildberries logistics hub, regional governor Alexander Gusev said, according to Moscow Times. Two others were hospitalized, one of whom had been at the facility during the strike. Wildberries confirmed the hub was struck and said it evacuated all employees. The company later said firefighters extinguished the blaze and that most of the stored goods were undamaged. The strike is the latest in a weeks-long campaign that has repeatedly hit Wildberries warehouses across multiple Russian regions, including Vladimir, Penza and Udmurtia in recent weeks alone. It has turned Russia's largest e-commerce platform into one of the most frequently struck non-military targets of the war, as Ukraine shifts part of its drone campaign toward the logistics networks that keep Russian consumer goods moving. Separately, Russia's Defense Ministry said it intercepted 396 Ukrainian drones overnight across the country and annexed Crimea.
