Webb detects 27 objects beyond Neptune

A companion color study compares small bodies with larger members of the same orbital groups.

NASA reports 27 new trans-Neptunian objects in a Webb survey. In a companion paper, Morgan et al. report recovering 13 Webb detections in Hubble observations. Their color distributions were consistent with larger bodies from the same dynamical groups.
