Ukrainian drones struck Wildberries warehouses in Kotovsk, in the Tambov region, and in Elektrostal, east of Moscow, killing at least nine people and wounding more than 60, according to AP reporting. Seven of the dead were night-shift workers at the Kotovsk facility, where 25 others were injured. In the Moscow region, governor Andrei Vorobyov said 37 people were wounded, one of whom later died in hospital. President Zelenskyy said the strikes hit two logistics facilities that Russia uses to supply components for drone production and navigation equipment, and that an oil facility was also struck. Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defenses intercepted 379 Ukrainian drones overnight across 19 regions, Crimea, the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. The target choice matters: warehouses run by a consumer retailer sit far from any recognized front line, and Kyiv's justification rests on their alleged role in Russia's drone supply chain. That framing turns dual-use logistics into a contested category, one where commercial infrastructure and military supply overlap and where civilian workers absorb the consequences.
