Ukrainian drones struck a logistics warehouse belonging to Ozon, Russia's second-largest online retailer, in the town of Chapayevsk in Russia's Samara region overnight on August 22, 2026, the first time an Ozon facility has been hit. The 135,000-square-meter warehouse, which opened in October 2022, caught fire, with flames reportedly spreading across much of the complex by 7:30 a.m. Ukraine's military said it also struck the nearby Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in the same region, sparking a separate fire. Russia's Defense Ministry said it intercepted 457 Ukrainian drones nationwide between Friday night and Saturday morning.
