Ukraine strikes a Russian rocket-propellant plant and Ozon warehouses in a 66-target overnight drone attack

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the federal state-owned Kombinat Kamensky plant in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region, overnight on August 24, 2026, according to Ukraine's General Staff. The facility produces solid rocket propellant for Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers and other missile systems; a fire was recorded and damage is still being assessed. Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, said the same overnight operation hit 66 Russian targets in total, including a MiG-29 fighter jet near Dolotinka and four radar systems in Rostov Oblast and occupied Crimea. The strikes also hit Ozon $OZON logistics warehouses in Dagestan, Stavropol Krai and Adygea, and the retailer's shares fell 12%, Russian outlet Astra reported. Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said falling drone debris killed two children and injured seven other children and two adults at a childcare center in the same overnight strikes.
