Ukraine's drone force hits 11 of 14 Russian military targets in a single night, including two fighter jets and an S-400 air defense system
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck 11 of 14 targets across Russia's Krasnodar and Rostov regions and occupied Crimea in one operation, hitting two fighter jets, eight radar complexes, and three air defense systems, commander Robert Brovdi said. Per Kyiv Independent and Kyiv Post.
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) struck 11 of 14 high-value Russian military targets across Russia's Krasnodar Krai and Rostov regions, as well as occupied Crimea, in a single operation on August 23, 2026, according to USF commander Robert "Magyar" Brovdi. At Vityazevo airfield in Krasnodar Krai, drones hit a Su-33 and a MiG-29 fighter jet, along with a large Orion uncrewed strike drone. Eight radar complexes were struck across the three regions, including Podlet, Kasta 2E2, Nebo-U, 36D6M, and ST-68 systems. Three air defense systems were also hit: an S-400 "Triumf" division in Gelendzhik, a Pantsir-S1 system in Yeysk, and a Tor surface-to-air missile system in Pudovyi.
