Ugandan military outlines Somalia withdrawal plan through end2027

In a November 2 statement, Uganda military spokesperson Chris Magezi said Uganda plans to withdraw all its forces from Somalia, including those under the African Union mission, by the end of 2027. The initial phase concerns bilaterally deployed troops; Magezi said the first group had already returned to Uganda.
