U.S. Central Command said it hit Iranian air defense sites, radar systems, and maritime targets. Iran responded by firing thirteen ballistic missiles at Jordan; Jordan's military said it intercepted ten, with three landing in unpopulated areas and no casualties reported. Iran also launched drones toward U.S. forces in Bahrain and toward Kuwait; both countries said all drones were intercepted. U.S. gasoline prices have climbed to $4.10 a gallon, up from $3.19 a year ago, as tensions continue with Iran, which controls shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway carrying about 20% of the world's oil.
