Snowflake $SNOW committed to spend $6 billion on Amazon Web Services $AMZN over five years in a deal tied to AI and agentic workloads. The contract covers Amazon's custom Graviton CPUs and other AWS silicon. The $6 billion is up from $1.2 billion at the time of Snowflake's 2020 IPO and $2.5 billion in 2023. Snowflake said it has sold $7 billion of its services via AWS Marketplace since the company was founded in 2012. Demand for Graviton has been heavy enough that two large customers asked to buy all of Amazon's available 2026 capacity and were turned down, according to AWS CEO Andy Jassy's shareholder letter.
