Russia builds drone launch bases within striking range of NATO territory

A Telegraph investigation using satellite imagery and leaked documents found Russia has built at least 59 drone launch rails across ten sites along its border with Ukraine and Belarus. Drone intelligence firm DroneSec says at least 20 of those rails can fire Russia's most advanced long-range drones, jet-powered Geran-4 and Geran-5 variants capable of flying nearly 1,000 kilometers. One base alone can store more than 1,000 long-range drones. Seven of the ten sites have already been used in recent attacks on Kyiv, and Ukraine's Air Force says jet-powered drone use rose fivefold in July. Russia has denied planning any attack on NATO territory and called the report nonsense.
