Russia struck nine Ukrainian cities including Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Poltava with missiles and drones in one of its largest overnight bombardments in weeks. Russia's Defense Ministry described the targets as military related, but Ukrainian officials say apartment buildings, a school and a medical facility were also hit, with two people killed and at least fourteen wounded.
