Police in Germany arrested a 48-year-old suspect near the Weisweiler power station on 8 September, Cologne police and prosecutors said. The arrest followed attacks on electricity infrastructure. North Rhine-Westphalia's interior minister, Herbert Reul, said the information then available pointed to a lone actor and that the suspect had planned to continue. Tagesschau and dpa-AFX reported his assessment. The lone-actor assessment was provisional. The man is described as a suspect in the published accounts.
