Nvidia $NVDA unveiled its first Windows PC processor at Computex 2026 in Taipei, with CEO Jensen Huang introducing the N1X, also branded as RTX Spark, in a joint push with Microsoft $MSFT and several major OEMs, CNBC reports. Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo and MSI will ship N1X-powered devices this fall, with Microsoft's Surface line expected to serve as the flagship platform. The system-on-chip packs 20 Arm CPU cores alongside Blackwell graphics with 6,144 CUDA cores, delivering RTX 5070-class performance without a discrete GPU, and supports up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. For decades, every mainstream Windows PC has shipped on Intel $INTC or AMD $AMD silicon, with Apple $AAPL holding the only other major Arm slot in the consumer PC market. The N1X marks Nvidia's entry into that turf and reshapes the competitive map for client compute.
