Nvidia has reportedly agreed to buy Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, according to The Information, in what would be one of Nvidia's largest acquisitions. Bloomberg independently confirmed the two companies held serious talks, but Business Insider reports no final deal has been reached and it could still fall apart. Hugging Face hosts more than 3 million AI models for over 13 million developers on roughly $150 million in annual revenue. Nvidia backed Hugging Face's 2023 funding round at a $4.5 billion valuation and had a smaller $500 million investment offer rejected earlier this year.
