Kimchi probiotic bacterium flushes microplastics from the human body

A bacterium from kimchi grabs nanoplastics in the gut and helps carry them out, per a World Institute of Kimchi study. Lab tests showed 87 percent binding efficiency; mice fed the probiotic excreted twice as many particles. Human trials are still ahead.
