IEH Corporation, a Brooklyn-based defense and aerospace connector maker whose hyperboloid connectors are used in the Patriot, THAAD, AMRAAM, APKWS and MARK-48 torpedo programs, disclosed in a Form 8-K filed with the SEC that hackers gained access to an employee's Microsoft 365 mailbox. According to The Register and Cybernews, the attacker impersonated a prospective business contact and sent a fake Microsoft document-sharing link, and the employee entered their credentials on the fraudulent login page. IEH said the intrusion was discovered on August 4, 2026, and that the mailbox contained email messages, attachments, customer communications, purchase orders, engineering-related documentation, and potentially export-controlled technical information. The company found no evidence the data was copied or exfiltrated but said it was accessible during the compromise period.
