Estonia's DefSecIntel unveils DroneHive automated counter-drone launcher at Eurosatory 2026
At the Eurosatory defense show in Paris, Estonian firm DefSecIntel revealed DroneHive, a mobile reloadable launcher that sends up an interceptor drone on command. Paired with its EIRSHIELD radar, it is built to stop low-cost drones before they reach troops or critical sites.
Cheap drones have become one of the deadliest threats facing soldiers and bases across Europe. At Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, Estonian company DefSecIntel revealed DroneHive, a mobile reloadable launcher that keeps interceptor drones ready to fire on command. Built as a modular trailer, it works with the EIRSHIELD system, which uses radar to detect targets up to eight kilometers away and adds radio sensors and a day-and-night camera to confirm and classify each threat. The maker says the goal is to knock down low-cost drones before they reach troops, infrastructure, or critical military assets.
