Daraxonrasib nearly doubles survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer in phase 3 trial

A global phase 3 trial reported that the oral RAS inhibitor daraxonrasib nearly doubled median overall survival in previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer, from 6.7 to 13.2 months versus chemotherapy. The maker says it plans to submit the data to the FDA.

RASolute 302 enrolled 500 patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer across 59 sites in six countries. Median overall survival reached 13.2 months with daraxonrasib versus 6.7 months with chemotherapy, cutting the risk of death by about 60 percent. The drug is taken once daily by mouth and was generally well tolerated.
