Companies More Exposed to AI Grow Headcounts Faster

Headcounts at the large global companies most exposed to AI grew 52% from 2018 to 2025, versus 36% at the least-exposed companies, per PwC's 2026 Global AI Jobs Barometer charted by Statista. The gap widened each year as growth at less-exposed firms slowed.
