Charter Communications, parent of Spectrum, has confirmed a data breach affecting 4.9 million accounts. ShinyHunters tricked an employee via voice phishing on April 1, then pivoted from Microsoft Entra into Salesforce. Stolen records include names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses. No financial data was taken. The 4.9 million email addresses were added to Have I Been Pwned on May 28.
