Canada and UAE sign trade agreement, with entry into force expected in 2027

Canada and the UAE signed a trade agreement on October 27. Once fully implemented, it would reduce or eliminate tariffs on over 99% of current Canadian exports to the UAE. It is expected to take effect in 2027.
