Researchers at the Center for BrainHealth followed nearly 4,000 adults aged 19 to 94 for three years, tracking them with the BrainHealth Index, a measure of mental clarity, social connectedness and emotional balance. Short daily training of five to fifteen minutes was linked to gains at every age, including people in their eighties and nineties, with no upper limit detected and the biggest improvements among those who started lowest. The team says the brain stays adaptable far later in life than once believed, and benefits can begin long before any symptoms of decline appear. Published in Scientific Reports.
